Life is pretty hard when you first get diagnosed. You question whether or not they made the right diagnosis or maybe you dont agree with it. We all have been thru that, fighting it, disagreeing with it. When it comes down to it, maybe inside you're relieved. You think, "hey, I finally know why I act a certain way at times, that explains that behavior. Maybe now I can stop that from happenening again to me."

We all have been thru that in one form or another. Some more severe than others. All I can say is, with time and patience, you will find the right medication combo, therapy if necessary, the family support and the friend support system you need. Just remember that even though you may have all those combinations, you will still have mood swings. Everyone, reguardless of being bipolar or not has mood swings and you will have a few bad days........dont worry, it usually won't last long and you'll be back to yourself soon.
